Beginner Music Camp

Ages: Rising 5th to 7th graders
Session: August 3-7
Daily Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Location: Turtle Lane Campus, 359 Turtle Lane, Shelburne, VT 05482
Cost: $400

This camp is geared toward students in our rising fifth to seventh grade classes who have three or less years of experience. This camp is intended for students developing strong relationships with their instrument, and who are ready to go more deeply into music. Students should expect to be immersed in the work through the weeks, with an outcome of developing both their technical skills and musicianship. In addition, students will play bells, hear music-related stories, make music-related crafts, and end most days with summer fun activities!

Steve Olson has been our Music Director at LCWS since 2002. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a B.A. in Music Education from Florida State University.
