One of my favorite moments was the first day of school in 2012. I had just started working at LCWS. I was very excited for the Rose Ceremony. I am a Waldorf alumna so the ceremony brings back memories from my days at the Waldorf school of Garden City. It truly was ‘wonderfully Waldorf.’ I loved seeing the contrast of the young, nervous first graders and the confident, smiling seniors. It is such a beautiful ceremony and wonderful way to begin each year anew. (Melinda Haselton)
