LCWS senior Dana Govett made a video for Vermont United for his community service project about a local environmental issue. The video is going viral!
Dana’s year-long senior project has centered around, “An Exploration into Programming Drones and their Benefit to Society.” Community service is an integral part of senior projects. The video explains the major environmental and safety devastation that is taking place in Shelburne due to Vermont Rail’s clear cutting plans.
There has been a lot of damage done but it isn’t too late. He hopes that this piece will have a significant impact and help to preserve and protect our beautiful state.
Come learn more about his project and others at the final Senior Project Presentation Evening on Friday April 29, 6 pm at Lake Champlain Waldorf High School: 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne.
