January 18
In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, our 7th–12th graders will be canvassing door-to-door in some Charlotte, Shelburne, and South Burlington neighborhoods collecting non-perishable goods for local food shelves this Monday. Please consider giving generously!
If you are not going to be home, feel free to leave your donations in a bag by your front door. We will give a portion of items collected to the Shelburne Food Shelf, but once our donation exceeds their capacity, we will send the remaining items to the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. The students will be collecting non-perishable food items as well as toiletries, pet food, diapers and wipes.
Our students will be canvassing the following locations:
Charlotte: Church Hill Rd. up to Homestead Dr., the neighborhoods along Lake Rd., Ferry Rd., and Greenbush (from Orchard Rd. to the Old Lantern), Nature’s Way, Crosswind Dr. and Sanctuary Ln.
