I have lost count of the number of Spring Benefit Galas I have attended, but each one will always remain a special memory for me. As Auction Manager for many years, and Gala Volunteer for several years before that, I have always been filled with awe watching the community come together to create such beauty for the senses. Shelburne Farms Coach Barn is transformed into a concert hall and elegant party venue. An unbelievably tremendous concert featuring our students and community members fills our hearts each year. Parent volunteers create a magical ambiance for all to partake in wonderful food, drink and the company of good friends. And a spectacular Online, Silent and Live Auction provides bidding opportunities for all to generously support the school that nourishes our children’s souls. Many thanks to my son, Devon Govett (Class of 2011), who wrote the auction software as a special gift to the school. I have been so blessed to be a part of this team! (Karen Nolin Govett)
