LCWS lovingly remembers Joshua Moore, a kindergartener in Sueanne’s class who passed away in October, 2013. Joshua would have turned 7 this Sunday, August 10. His family invites us to ‘drum where we are’ in celebration of Joshua’s birthday.
A letter from the Moore family….
Dear Waldorf Community,
We invite you and your family to join us in celebrating Joshua’s 7th birthday this Sunday, August 10th with seven minutes of drumming or other music in his honor. People around the world will be drumming for Joshua throughout the day, especially at 10:37am leading up to the time that he was born at 10:44am, and also at 7:00pm. Dust off that djembe, or grab a simple cardboard box and spoon!
Joshua was a gifted drummer who deepened our appreciation for a home filled with music. Thank you for celebrating his beautiful life by making music with us. We know he’ll be drumming along as well.
