Friday, January 20th at 7pm Shelburne Campus
We are pleased to offer a screening of the movie “Mother Nature’s Child: Growing Outdoors in the Media Age” on Friday, January 20th at 7:00pm. The film examines why children need unstructured time outside, what the place risk-taking has in healthy child development, and how play is a form of learning. It also looks at the ways children growing up in urban areas connect to nature and what it means to educate the “whole” child. Please join us after the screening for a panel discussion. $5 donation suggested. RSVP to Pam at pgraham@lakechamplainwaldorfschool.org
